Federico
Simonazzi is the owner of Alar’s Recording Studio. After
experiences as a DJ in 1990 working in clubs and regional radio
broadcasting, in mid 1997 he started transforming his recording
studio dedicated to radio program recording in a music production
facilities. Since 1999, Federico has written many reviews, columns,
news, and articles on music equipment related to sound and music
manipulation and production for print, as well as electronic
press sources specializing in music technology. Since 2000 he
has been working as a columnist for “Make your Groove” for
the international dance magazine DiscoID. Federico has worked
with the Italian magazines Fare Musica, Music Link, and Music
File Magazines for which he has written articles and helped to
create CD-ROM attachments. From 2000 to 2002, Federico was the
editor-in-chief of the Hi-tech section on thedanceweb.com. He
wrote technical articles for the portal technodisco.it. Today
he collaborates with several Italian distribution agencies and
international producers of hardware and software instruments
for audio editing, and DJing as a Product specialist, product
guide translator, event organizer, consultant, beta tester and
endorser. As a Consultant for dance producers, radios, DJs and
musical instrument shops, Federico is now the Product specialist
and is responsible for Italian technical support for the brand
Numark and all the brands distributed in Italy by Esound for
DJs: UDG, Sicmats, Energy. Since December 2005, he has been named
as Product Specialist in Italy also for the brand Phonic, a well-known
Pro-audio manufacturer.
